Job Title: Direct Care Professional
Pay: $17.75
Pay differentials:
$1 shift differential when working 2nd or 3rd shifts.
There is also an additional $1.00 per hour for all hours worked on the weekends.
Typical Shifts: - Various shifts available
- First Shift - 6:30am – 2:30pm; Second Shift – 2:30pm – 10:30pm; Third Shift – 10:30pm – 6:30am

Requirements of a Direct Care Professional:
· High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
· 1-3 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
· Must be able to read, write and speak the English language, and have the ability to read and interpret documents.
· Ability to use and learn various database reporting systems (Point Click Care)
· Must have Driver’s License and be able to obtain Archdiocesan Driving Approval (must have 7-year clean driving record.)
· Must have ability and willingness to travel to off-site locations using company vehicles.
Responsibilities of a Direct Care Professional:
· Assists with daily living needs of residents and assists at mealtime.
· Accompany individuals while out in their communities.
· Assists in implementation of therapeutic activities, such as physical exercises, mass or church functions, arts and crafts, and recreational games.
· Completes daily documentation.
· Maintains professional demeanor and communicates respectfully and effectively with peers, supervisors, management, family, consumers, anyone working, receiving services, and visiting any agency program.
· Ability to lift and /or move up to 10 pounds. Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifting and/or moving more than 100 pounds with assistance.
· Ability to read, write, and carry out directions.
· Providing companionship and supportive listening
· Reporting changes in the health or status of the resident.
· Assist with ADLs.
· Respond to emergency situations.
· Provide support with hobbies, studies, and social activities.
· Other duties as assigned.
