As a ServiceNow Functional Analyst, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical functionalities. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand their requirements, translate them into actionable configurations, and ensure the implemented solutions effectively address business challenges.
ServiceNow Functional Analyst

Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders, process owners, and IT teams to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements for ServiceNow implementations.
- Translate business requirements into ServiceNow configurations, workflows, and automations.
- Conduct gap analyses to assess the suitability of ServiceNow functionalities to meet business needs.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive functional specifications for ServiceNow configurations.
- Design and configure ServiceNow modules (e.g., Incident Management, Change Management, Service Catalog) to streamline processes and enhance user experience.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure configurations meet functional requirements.
- Provide ongoing support to technical teams and stakeholders during the implementation and post-go-live phases.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and suggest enhancements to optimize ServiceNow usage.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest ServiceNow features and functionalities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a ServiceNow Functional Analyst or similar role.
- Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) principles and methodologies (ITIL preferred).
- Proven experience in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow configuration and customization.
- Experience with creating user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Experience with testing methodologies (e.g., black-box testing) a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
