Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing projects from initiation to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Pre-construction meetings as needed
- Hand-off meeting from estimating to project management and coordination with project foreman
- Job tracking and management in PM software and various reports/spreadsheets that are required to perform at a high level including but not limited to:
- Assist the Project Specialist with new Job set-up and tracking of all GC requirements
- Create and monitor budgets regularly for maintaining proper profitability
- Timely and accurately buyout subcontractor and supplier scopes to reduce risk
- Timely Invoice approvals
- Timely credit card and expense report approvals
- Tracking purchase orders
- Mange, prepare, and settle change orders
- Assist with monthly progress billings
- Coordinate with Vice President on project schedules
- Assist with the completion of project closeouts, O&M Manuals, warranty letters and as-builts
- Communicating with the Field Foreman for scope changes, budgets, schedule, and material orders/deliveries
- Review submittals and shop drawings for accuracy, track them for approval, and release them to suppliers.
- Jobsite visits and on-site meetings as needed
- Contract review compared to estimated scope, risk management, and execution
- Hold Foreman accountable for submitting daily, safety paperwork, material orders, etc. to maintain an effectively run project
- Monitor smalls budgets and labor budgets and report back to Foreman as needed to maintain an effectively run project
- Identifying risks and proactively mitigating potentially negative outcomes
- Monthly financial reporting to President for projects as deemed appropriate
- Actively participates in industry, client, and community relations to enhance company image
- Actively build subcontractor/supplier database and relationships to ensure key partnerships are maintained
- Weekly Metric Reporting
- Sends weekly update to the President
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Electrical Estimating or Field electrical experience: 2-4 years preferred.
- Degree in Construction Management or similar is preferred.
- Driver’s license is required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Sufficient understanding of the principles of estimating.
- Ability to read construction schematics, drawings, and plans.
- High attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
- Excellent English in written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative work habits - prioritizes relationships; supportive, empathetic listener.
- Effective analytical and creative problem-solving skills. Ability to negotiate solutions to problems and opportunities.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent time management skills – possesses a sense of urgency, punctuality with project completion, budgets adequate time for completing complex tasks, is consistent and reliable.
- Has self-initiative, high follow-through and is very organized
- High degree of flexibility and ability to adapt to change, communicates frequently
- Willing to work overtime as required by project deadlines.
- Excellent computer skills including MS Office, SharePoint, etc.
- Possess strong mathematical skills.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50lbs or more.
Working Conditions:
Works in an office environment for most of the time. May occasionally be in the field making site visits. May need to work overtime during busy periods.
