Our client is is actively seeking a full-time
Enterprise Architect I supporting US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) at
Ft. Meade, MD.
What you will be doing:
- Providing NC3 Enterprise Architecture expertise to support data-driven enterprise decisions.
- Supporting senior leaders and provide architectural recommendations to meet strategic objectives for future IT system integration.
- Collaborating with NC3 architecture teams to provide input to capture user requirements and use cases for improvement of the NC3 Digital Mission Engineering Environment (NDMEE).
- Producing and publishing baseline and incremental NC3 system of systems architectures to support and update information hosted in enterprise digital engineering tools.
- Developing detailed architecture artifacts for subsets of the NC3 Enterprise, as needed - All View (AV), Operational View (OV), and System View (SV) artifacts.
- Ingesting, re-formatting, and publishing the NC3 “As-Is” architecture using validated and verified authoritative data to support and update information hosted in the NC3 Enterprise Library (NEL) or other digital engineering tools.
Minimum Experience:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret w/ SCI Eligibility
Education: High School Diploma
Years of experience: 11+ years' relevant experience working with NC3-related capabilities, procedures, and platforms, including developing architecture artifacts per industry standards
- Experience with DOD communications architecture and systems
- Experience developing architectural artifacts
- Ability to work well within a team and to execute tasks independently
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong command of MS Office suite tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Experience:
Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Engineering, Computer Science, or similar technical field with 3+ years’ relevant experience working with NC3-related capabilities, procedures, and platforms, including developing architecture artifacts per industry standards
- Working-level proficiency with Models Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Digital Modeling tools such as Cameo, Magic Draw, and SparxEA
- Experience establishing system information requirements and designing architecture to support present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces
