SUMMARY
Inside sales will work cooperatively with outside sales and other members of the distribution team to grow existing customers, create new customers, and meet or exceed monthly sales quotas at the appropriate gross margin while increasing customer satisfaction. This will be attained by strategically contacting, negotiating and closing new business relationships, as well as maintaining and growing current business relationships. There could be a small amount of travel from time to time to attend industry trade shows.

RESPONSIBILITIES
· Contact potential customers; examines risks and potentials, analyses customer needs and moves prospects through evaluation, proposal, negotiation, and closing stages.
· Determine customers’ requirements and expectations to recommend specific products and solutions.
· Recommend alternative products based on cost, availability or specifications.
· Daily tasks include answering inbound calls, tracking orders, providing product and application assistance, writing quotes, writing orders, providing order confirmations, and maintaining quality customer records in the database.
· Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales, and offering promotional items.
· Executes other duties as assigned which support the company’s overall efficiency and effectiveness goals. Responsible for identifying and supporting continuous improvement efforts for departmental systems and people and supporting other areas of ADO Products and the TopBuild family as required.

REQUIREMENTS
· High School Diploma necessary, Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Minimum of 2 years of professional B2B sales experience
· Highly motivated and results oriented
· Entrepreneurial spirit
· Strong presentation, communication, organization, multitasking, and time management skills
· Solid problem solving and consultative skills required
· Ability to work in a fast-pace team sales environment with minimum supervision
· Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
· Experience with CRM or ERP is extremely helpful
