United Way Miami, Inc. is hiring an Administrator, People & Engagement to join our team. As Administrator, People & Engagement you will be responsible for providing administrative support across various People & Engagement (P&E) functions, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication within the department.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Recruitment Support: Assist with the recruitment process, including updating job descriptions, posting job vacancies, screening resumes, scheduling phone screenings, and pre-hire process.

Onboarding Support: Prepare onboarding materials/welcome packets for new hires and assist them with the online onboarding process. Set up New Hire and Transfer Assessments.

Payroll Support: Assist with the Time and Attendance process by assisting and guiding staff and supervisors. Assist in closing the payroll cycle. Run Paylocity monthly reports.

Benefits Administration Support: Assist with benefits administration including monthly benefits/billing reconciliation.

Training & Development Support: Assist in coordinating training sessions and workshops for employees. Track employee training records and certifications.

General Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the HR lead such as submitting departmental P&E p-card expenses, coordinating meetings and calendars; preparing reports, mailings, and materials; supplying requests and orders; preparing agendas, sign-in materials and presentations as needed for all staff P&E meetings and other general administrative duties as needed.
General HR administrative duties:

Maintain People & Engagement Intranet & Paylocity Portal, including P&P manual and HR forms.

Maintain online personnel files & employee profile information as needed.

Maintains all employee recognition materials (such as shirts, anniversary gifts, certificates)

Assist in staff separations as needed.

Manage Movie Tickets program, and assisted with employee events such as Monthly Birthday Celebration, General Staff Meetings, Take Our Children to Work day, Blood drive, Flu Shots and Health Fair, etc.

Ensure Labor Law Posters are current.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
Education Requirements: Associate degree in HR or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
Experience Requirements: At least one-year experience in Human Resources and office/administrative environment.
Technology Requirement: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive).
Other Essential Knowledge/Skills: Typing, online filing, and proofreading skills. Must be detail-oriented and work with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality; able to multi-task and prioritize a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment to meet stringent deadlines. Excellent written and oral communication, customer service skills, and time management skills required. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
