Job Summary: Primarily an Accounts Payable position supporting the accounting team in various financial and administrative tasks. This position will play an important role in providing support to the company by handling various administrative, clerical, and accounting tasks. The specific responsibilities and duties of the role may vary; however, here is a general job description.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Data Entry: Accurately input financial transactions, invoices, and other relevant data into accounting software and spreadsheets.
2. Accounts Payable: Product verification, invoice approvals, review and maintain AP aging for food and liquor vendors, ensuring accuracy of financial data.
3. Inventory: assist with month-end inventory.
4. Bank Reconciliation: Assist with reconciling bank statements to internal records, to ensure accuracy of financial transactions and identify any discrepancies.
5. Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support. Maintain and update records, files, and databases. Prepare documents, reports, and presentations as required.
6. Data Management: Organize and maintain company documents, records, and databases. Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
7. Communication and Correspondence: Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
8. Team Collaboration: Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues and team members. Assist other departments or team members with administrative tasks as required. Foster a positive and cooperative work environment.
9. Adaptability and Multitasking: Manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Adapt to changing circumstances, deadlines, and priorities. Demonstrate flexibility and resourcefulness in handling various administrative demands.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems.
