POSITION OVERVIEW:
Maintain all aspects of the general ledger for accuracy, timeliness and completeness. Pays:$65,000-$70,000 per year
KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Maintain general ledger accounting functions

Reconcile assigned intercompany accounts

Reconcile assigned account receivables
-
Prepare bank reconciliations
-
Prepare cost report schedules and reports
-
Maintain fixed asset schedules and record monthly depreciation expense
-
Prepare and post monthly entries closing entries
-
Close-out accrued balance sheet accounts
-
Manage government grants as assigned
-
Prepare audit schedules and work with external auditors
-
Produce ad hoc analysis reports and projects as requested
-
Participate in the preparation of annual budgets
-
Research with regard to appropriately recording accounting transactions with document support
-
Other duties as assigned by Supervisors.
REQUIREMENTS:
-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting,
-
5+ years of progressive accounting experience required
-
Non- Profit experience a plus
-
Knowledge of GAAP and Uniform Guidance cost principles

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
-
Excellent verbal and written communication

Experience with Fund-Ez and Sage Fixed Asset a plus
