SNA Electronics provides a full range of EMS for PCB Assembly and final system level products with a wide variety of testing solutions.
Position :
Responsible for the lead of assembly process / manufacturing engineer activities from DFM to customer feedback after delivery.
Essential Responsibilities :
· Perform DFM and provide tools such as stencils and fixtures
· Generate MPI and process ECO
· Profile for reflow ovens and rework station using Super MOLE, SMT machines, PCBA inspection equipment such as Microscope, 3D X-ray machine, Multimeter.
· Implement First article approval activities including visual and 3D X-ray inspection based on IPC-A-610 inspection criteria
· Trouble shoot assembly process related issues from each step of inspection(FA/In-process/Final)
· Interfaces with production supervisors and managers on all product specifications and
technical requirements.
· Assist in the development of training and providing training to production personnel
· CAR & NCM analysis, approval and root cause or corrective/preventive action
· Other duties as assigned
Experience & Skill:
- Has the ability to work independently to facilitate and accomplish multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Has the ability to work interactively with cross functional teams within a small company environment to facilitate results and accomplishments.
- Team leadership skills and ability to work effectively with customers
- Strong knowledge of PCB Assembly, System Build & Rework processes
- Excellent verbal and written English communications skills; ability to present
- Minimum 10 years engineering experience; analytical and flexible
- Working knowledge of labor time estimating & quoting for assembly operations
- Experience with current revision IPC-A-610 Workmanship Standards
- Training manufacturing personnel on assembly process instructions or process
- Exceptional ability to develop technical solutions to complex problems; failure analysis
- Communicating effectively across all levels of the organization & external interfaces
- Works well under pressure, organized and self-motivated; coordinate projects.
- Proven success with project management and implementation of quality system improvements
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office and Windows® applications
- HW and/or SW design, RF, Bl, ESS, experience a plus
- Strong working knowledge with engineering drawings
- Experience with statistical techniques (sampling and SPC), DOE, Six Sigma
- Experience with validations, and quality system assessments
