POSITION SUMMARY:
The full-time outpatient clinician provides clinical/therapeutic services to adults, youth, and families in our Bridgeport Office.
· Provides therapy to individuals, family, or group.
· Completes psychosexual evaluations
· Documents and evaluates all services and procedures to be in adherence with state statutes, COA standards, and Boys & Girls Village Standards.
· Knowledgeable of medical necessity and documents accordingly
· Completes training for evidence-based treatment and participates in associated consultation, working towards model certification.
· Participates in weekly supervision
· Assesses clinical needs of children and families
· Maximizes program utilization
· Provide recovery support services for identified youth in the Youth Link Mentoring Program
· Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the client, including some evenings. Also must be willing to work out of the Milford location as well
· Masters Degree in social work or equivalent.
· Must be willing to work in a variety of settings with clients and families.
PURPOSE/FUNCTION OF THE PROGRAM:
Boys & Girls Village holds an outpatient license with DCF to provide services to youth and families. We also have a DPH license to treat Adults and all ages substance abuse.
LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS FOR CLINICAL POSITIONS:
Candidate must hold one of the following credentials: LMSW, LCSW, LMFTA, LMFT, LPCA, LPC or licensed or licensed-eligible Psychologist in the State of Connecticut.
