Job Summary:
Provide expertise in Quality Assurance and process improvement tools and methods to targeted functions of the organization to support them in their continuous improvement activities. Contribute in the advancement of the organization in Quanta for business prosperity and customer satisfaction. Execute the initiatives of the organization in the development, implementation, and improvement of the appropriate Quality Management Systems throughout the operation, with all the documentation required. This includes providing advanced quality planning support in the development and launch of new products, processes, and services.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide Quality interface and expertise between the organization and its customers to proactively assure that their needs and expectations are understood and satisfied.
- This includes the complaint management process and the implementation of the corresponding corrective / preventive actions.
- This includes the preparation of reports of supplier performance used to give feedback to suppliers and to the organization.
- Participate in the internal Quality System Audit program for the organization and follow-up the corrective action system.
- Develop and analyze statistical data and product / process performance to recommend and implement improvements in targeted areas of the organization.
- Responsible for company compliance to ISO9001 with all associated processes and procedures.
- Contribute in the design and implementation of quality assurance training programs and conduct training in quality-related topics throughout the organization.
- Participate in all aspects of product development and launch activities throughout the organization.
- Provide support in the way of development and evaluation of process capability, process control plans, analysis of out-of-control conditions and process audits with the objective of improving process performance and capability.
- Develop, implement and audit of inspection and test plans, standards and acceptance criteria, and procedures / work instructions.
- Investigate and eliminate causes of quality problems and follow up on corrective actions.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent knowledge of manufacturing systems, repair process procedures, quality improvement programs, and design for manufacturability concepts.
- Working knowledge and understanding of quality tools and techniques including data analysis, sampling plans.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to establish effective partnerships with internal customers.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Education and Experience
- B.S. or equivalent degree.
- One (1) year experience in a manufacturing environment, with knowledge of product development, quality assurance, supplier quality engineering, supplier quality performance systems and engineering documentation.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
Salary Range
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
