Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist. This is a Part/full-time position with flexible schedule and competitive compensation rate with potential to full time. We are a privately owned outpatient physical therapy clinic in west Los Angeles. We are rapidly growing and seeking an energetic and exceptional Physical therapy assistant to join our team who is committed to offering the highest quality of treatment to our patients. The majority of patient population is adults with orthopedic conditions, post ops, and personal injuries. Weekend availability is a plus.
Duties:
- Implement selected components of patient treatment plans as directed by the supervising physical therapist.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to patients.
- Assist patients with therapeutic activities and exercises.
- Document patient progress and report observations to the supervising physical therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises.
Requirements:
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- New Graduate PTA's are welcome to apply! (need state license)
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and patient care techniques.
- Experience or knowledge in areas such as orthopedics, trigger point therapy, occupational health, and outpatient care.
- Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.64 per hour
