Cameo Consulting Group, LLC a management consulting practice based out of Alexandria, VA, is seeking multiple qualified and available HR Consultantsspecialized in labor relations, to support a prospective Federal client. The position is full-time, long-term in nature, telework, and available upon award.
Overview: LR/ER/PM Specialist with extensive labor relations, performance management, and employee relations experience, expertise in employment law, equal opportunity law, federal procurement law, labor relations, performance management, and employee relations experience in order to provide advice and support on a broad array of matters involving human capital, labor relations, employee relations, performance management, equal employment opportunity, and other administrative matters
DUTIES:
- The duties of the position are most heavily focused on personnel and labor law (primarily arbitration, mediation and settlement, performance management, and employee relations), but also include a variety of general administrative law matters.
- Responsible for arbitration caseload preparation, assistance, and related work.
- Assisting with formulating strategies based on case law, working with management officials in developing factual arguments, and providing technical assistance at hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Responsible for identifying and strategizing settlement opportunities with DELMR management and will be expected to coordinate all aspects of settlement.
- The LR/ER/PM Analyst(s) will provide day-to-day advice and assistance on employee relations, performance management, and labor relations to OASAM management to include conducting research of the law and DOL and Agency policies and practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources
- 6+ Years as experience in Labor relations
- Government experience is required
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
