Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Account/Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing sales activities within a designated region, driving revenue growth, and building strong customer relationships.
The Regional Account Manager uses knowledge, requires a direct and personal approach to clients with an open mind for their needs. A base knowledge of processes, equipment, and manufacturing to identify and sell products and services. Additionally, a direct line of communication with engineers, production staff, procurement, and top management are equally as important for the flow from customer visits to design, sales, engineering, production, and installation. An understanding of the operations involved within the company are also useful. This is a key strategy for planning and understanding limits of capabilities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
While experience and formal education may vary due to the nature of the job, there are some commonly required attributes.
- Millwright or Industrial Maintenance relevant production experience.
- Organizational effectiveness and project management knowledge and experience.
- Business and management principles and practices knowledge.
- Financial and accounting principles and practices knowledge.
- Human resources principles and practices knowledge.
- Project management principles and practices knowledge.
- Information technology skills.
DUTIES
- Primary responsibility is to ensure that Clients are satisfied and our services are the highest quality possible. Call on customers to further the goal of profiting our company
- Establish direct communication with Clients.
- Be involved with schedules at the initial sales effort to ensure deliverables are reasonable for project execution. Maintain schedules thru interaction with internal personnel and Clients.
- Ensure that the design is realistically possible
- Maintain ongoing project requirements and specifications for multiple projects.
- Review design efforts to ensure that quality is being maintained.
- Work closely with customers to determine the form, fit and function of products being designed and fabricated.
- Help plan and support sales and marketing activities. Manage customer support.
- Work closely with Engineers, review drawings and layouts. Work with clients on setting and achieving goals during projects.
- Creation and refinement of complex mechanical components including sourcing, volume models, key performance parameters, etc.
- Creation of communication documentation to help convey the key aspects of a design to a client or manufacturing partner.
- Meet and work with management team to communicate the project(s) scope of work.
- Ongoing design reviews/brainstorming sessions with engineers/designers working on projects under your control.
- Plan effective strategies that will benefit the financial wellbeing of your company. Attend bid meeting and prepare quotes.
- Quality assurance. Work as final review of work product prior to client delivery.
- Work closely with customers to determine form, fit and function of products being designed and fabricated.
- Determine root cause analysis and testing activities. Guide other staff for correction.
- Coordinating efforts to ensure that the designs are created in accordance with what is required.
- Coordinate, monitor and manage the actions of different departments within the organization.
- Implement improvements and ensure quality and quantity of employee productivity. Help minimize rework throughout the manufacturing process.
- Communicate with top management. Help develop policies for operational activity and help implement and develop operational plans.
- Prototype modeling if required for testing and approval.
- Modifying existing designs and products to improve performance or integrate modern technology.
- Ensure that the design will be safe, dependable, and economically feasible.
- Work closely with team members to integrate new improvements into designs and ensure that quality standards are adhered to.
- Oversee smaller project installations
- Ensure that the Shop Manager is provided with documents for each project.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
