Their Power district focuses on the EPC delivery model for power facilities, including:
- Gas-fired generation
- Power delivery
- Environmental retrofits
- Renewables and new technology
- Water/wastewater
Location
Remote Local to the Houston, TX area for occasional in person travel
Responsibilities
- Design and conceptualize large power projects.
- Formulate technical specifications and coordinate with construction partners.
- Prepare electrical designs, schematics, and calculations.
- Mentor junior engineers and ensure adherence to design standards and codes.
- Collaborate with in-house engineers and construction teams for effective project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution and EIT license.
- Professional Engineer License in any US State
- Minimum of 3 years of power engineering experience.
- Proficiency with design software tools -
- Experienced in ARC Flash studies
- Experienced in SKM or ETAP
- Field construction or power plant startup experience preferred.
