Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our office, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in the dental office setting and possess strong computer skills. Duties:
- Greet patients in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage the front desk and coordinate the flow of patients.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing the appointment book.
- Process payments and handle billing and insurance claims.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient charts and appointment schedules.
- Provide administrative support to the office, including answering phones, taking messages, and filing documents.
- Perform event planning duties, including coordinating logistics and providing support to events.
- Demonstrate strong computer literacy and proficiency with office software.
- Develop and maintain a high level of office organization and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other administrative staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the office.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
Experience:
- 1 year of previous dental front office experience or reception experience.
- Tech savvy and comfortable with the variety of software and tools used in our office (Open Dental)
- Basic math skills and understanding of practice financials (posting correctly to the ledger, practice receivables)
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or an associate's degree preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
