Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI/ML Engineer Subject Matter Expert to join our team. As an AI/ML Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning algorithms and models to solve complex problems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models using Python, Java, and other relevant programming languages.
- Serve on T&H’s Program Management Office (PMO) Team for MPP by helping to oversee and execute all aspects of MPAs in accordance with DoD and NGA regulations.
- Develop and deploy state-of-the-art machine language models and algorithms for NLP and computer vision applications.
- Deliver subject expertise, guidance, and insight regarding the Artificial Intelligence/Machine Languages tools, solutions and processes
- Execute AI/ML solutions as a subject matter expert involving AI/ML/Data Analytics of satellite images, reverse engineering/enhanced functionality of technology transfer, software development, security, critical asset protection, and integrated network solutions
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to collect, clean, and preprocess data for analysis.
- Design and build scalable AI solutions that can handle large volumes of data.
- Create AI algorithm prototypes based on project specifications
- Execute tests to assess AI performance
- Analyze data gathered during tests to identify strengths and weaknesses of AI
- Implement changes to algorithms to improve AI performance
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies.
- Optimize models for performance, scalability, and accuracy.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Test and evaluate models using appropriate metrics.
- Document code, processes, and findings for future reference.
- Develop computer vision algorithms for tasks such as image classification, object detection, image segmentation, and visual recognition.
- Work collaboratively together with stakeholders, technical leads and program managers to pinpoint problem areas and create plans of action that will improve AI/ML performance goals and results.
- Assist with the preparation of presentations, briefings, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Operate as a program analytics subject matter expert and offer program staff guidance and support as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of AI/ML concepts, algorithms, and techniques.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience with quantum engineering is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
