Administrative Responsibilities:
- Direct and supervise clinical personnel rendering skilled client care services and act as client services administrative liaison under the supervision of the Administrator.
- Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate operations to ensure adequate and appropriate care of patients.
- Coordinate and liaise with appropriate agencies and organizations that govern Home Health agencies.
- Consults and plans with healthcare facilities or other home health agencies regarding patient care or staffing needs.
- Follow Governing Body directives and work closely with the agency’s Administrator to direct the implementation of service goals and objectives.
- Establish and maintain effective channels of communication.
- Establish and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulatory guidelines.
- Oversee the implementation and evaluation of patient services inclusive of regulatory licensure and certification criteria and accreditation standards.
- Ensure compliant and appropriate implementation of organizational policies and procedures.
- Review and contribute to Quality Assurance/Program Improvement (QAPI) Plan, including monitoring appropriate data indicators and overall evaluation of the appropriateness and effectiveness of the Home Health services.
Recruitment Responsibilities:
- Utilize marketing skills to recruit qualified clinical personnel and patients in need of services.
- Share goals of growth and expansion; provide ideas and opportunities for growth.
- Foster public relations for the company for marketing purposes.
Patient Care Responsibilities
- Establish efficient workflow from referral to discharge of patients.
- Accept and review referrals for patient care.
- Oversee completion of intakes for new patients.
- Monitor compliance and timely filing of documentation, including visit notes, progress notes, OASIS, etc.
- Coordinate patient care and supervise clinical personnel per regulations.
- Continually assess patient needs and satisfaction.
- Evaluate the development, implementation, and updates of individualized plans of care.
- Provide on-call services to patients, including shift coverage if needed.
Staff Development Responsibilities:
- Ensure AHC employs qualified clinical personnel by assisting with interviewing and hiring staff.
- Create, manage, and coordinate staff development, including orientation, in-service education, and evaluation of clinical personnel in accordance with regulations and policies/procedures.
- Act as liaison for staff development and keep clinical personnel up to date with current evidence-based practices.
- Complete appropriate skills validations or observation of duties for all clinical personnel.
- Direct assignments and duties of clinical personnel.
- Assist with scheduling needs when appropriate.
Skills/Requirements:
- Must be available during all operating hours.
- Must be available to provide on-call services outside of operating hours.
- Able to demonstrate knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulatory guidelines that govern the operation of a Home Health Agency.
- Must be able to understand Electronic Medical Record systems in order to monitor compliance, submit OASIS documents, and train clinical personnel on its functions.
- Must be flexible and able to take on extra responsibilities as necessary to ensure continuous effective operation of the agency.
Qualifications:
- Must have CO RN license with no restrictions.
- Possess BSN or undergraduate degree in a related field.
- Current CPR- or BSL-certified at hire.
- Two (2) years of home health administration experience with at least one (1) year of supervisory experience in home care or a closely related field. (Pertinent education may be used in lieu of experience on a case-by-case basis.)
- Must be 21+ years old.
- Background checks will be conducted for this position, including CBI, CAPS, OIG, NSO, and DORA.

- Base wage = $40/hr.+ based on education and experience.
