Flooring Sales Specialist
Since 1996, Tile Liquidators has been helping turn houses into homes by offering showroom quality at liquidation prices. Tile Liquidators seeks to add a positive, outgoing, and highly self-motivated individual to its team of Flooring Sales Specialists. Join us as we strive to become the complete flooring destination and take advantage of the uncapped earnings potential enjoyed by our sales team! The candidate will go through a 90-day introductory period, where they will train and work with our sales team. Once the 90 days are up, Tile Liquidators management will assess their progress and job stature.
Responsibilities:
Build relationships with walk-in customers to enhance sales opportunities
Communicate with Purchasing any needs for special products
Responsible for accurately estimating building products
Investigate and answer complex questions and inquiries within the framework of the sales function
Perform basic mathematical functions, unit conversions, and geometrical calculations
Collect, analyze, and report sales data and information (quotes, estimates, bids, and blueprint take-offs)
Be innovative and provide suggestions for improvement across the company
Plan how to establish and maintain major account relationships and meet personal sales targets within the full line of products or combination of products
Provide training, guidance and assistance to new or less experienced staff
Build sales and meet sales goals
Requirements:
Sales knowledge in the flooring category preferred
Obtain and maintain product knowledge of our flooring products offered.
Follow and enforce company policies and procedures
Ability to multi-task without sacrificing the quality of work and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be computer savvy and familiar with operating computer software (Ex: Word, Excel and Outlook)
Knowledge of all aspects and uses of construction materials
Aggressive, competitive and resilient
Persuasive and people-orientated
Ability to thrive in a team environment
Great attention to detail
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Must pass pre-employment drug screen
