Salary $50,000 - $58,000 based on experience.

Who We Are Looking to Hire:
A Receivables Associate that demonstrates superior expertise and first-class service to our clients. As a Receivables Associate, you will be an essential member of our trust accounting team.
THE ROLE:
- Processes and reviews incoming wires, Automated Clearing House (ACH), and checks
- Processes returned check deposits that do not meet the requirements for deposit
- Works in a team atmosphere to ensure all daily tasks are completed by end of day
- Reads source documents, such as checks, check requests, and reports, and determines necessary action
- Conducts research to resolve problems on accounts and follows through to ensure client satisfaction
- Assist finance/accounting team on department projects
- Suggest changes to department policies and procedures as appropriate.
- Communicate daily via incoming calls and emails from clients with questions relating to establishing a self-directed retirement account, contributions, distributions, etc.
- Enter and manage sensitive client data into trust software to open retirement accounts. i.e. IRA, SEP, 401k, HSA.
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with clients’ accounts through knowledge and expertise of the self-directed industry (we have our own internal training).
- Ability to work well with other team members and understand and take direction to assist the team.
- (This is not a call center environment).
REQUIREMENTS/CHARACTERISTICS:
- 1+ years experience with IRAs, 401(k)s, or other retirement accounts
- Associate’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- Strong customer service communication and relationship skills. (active listener, clear, honest, strong verbal and written communicator, and good note taking skills)
- Must exude highest attention to detail and accountability.
- Self-starter, ability to take initiative, strong problem-solving skills, with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Ability to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to prioritize, exceptional organizational skills, multi-task and manage time effectively.
- Ability to learn and retain industry specific information.
- Schedule reliability.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong computer skills
- Microsoft Products: Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel (formulas, graphs, and tracking data)
- Knowledge in: Retirement accounts, such as IRAs and 401(k)s or other related fields.
