Position Overview:
This part-time position will be responsible for the Leech Lake Area Chamber of Commerce’s office and will work closely with all visitors who stop at our office. Duties include fielding telephone calls, word processing, a willingness to learn member database, Chamber Master as well as knowledge of our local area and strong communications skills are mandatory. Manages the chamber’s lobby area, greets and directs visitors. The position will work closely with planning and implementing all Chamber events throughout the entire year.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Maintain Member Database
2. Chamber & Event Information
3. Sponsorships
4. Prepare and distribute email communications.
1. Provide event coordination support for all chamber activities.
2. Chamber Mailing Service
a. Gather all leads and make spreadsheet
b. Get mailing ready to all leads
3. Assist with brochures, flyers, etc. published by the office!
4. Serve as Staff liaison to assigned committees.
Under the direction of the President, responsible for the maintenance of equipment, office supplies, orderliness, and organization of office.........
1. Answer telephones in a prompt and courteous manner.
2. Fill requests for information in a timely fashion.
3. Take reservation for chamber sponsored events.
4. Handle complaints, if needed direct them to the president

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
