Calibration Technician
Technical Maintenance Inc. is recruiting for an experienced Calibration Technician to work within our customer's manufacturing facility in White, GA. This position requires demonstrated mechanical knowledge and aptitude. The capability to learn the calibration and troubleshooting of the following types of test and measurement equipment is required: temperature devices, pressure, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other mechanical type gauges. The ability to work unsupervised and unsurpassed dependability is required.
Job Requirements:
* Ability to lift 50 lbs. and climb stairs; capable of working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and extreme temperatures for extended periods of time.
* Mechanical or other applicable training with a minimum of 3 years verifiable applicable experience.
*The ability to execute mathematical equations. Specifically, algebra and statistics.
* Including but not limited to a sliding a scale of 0, span, and incorporation of variance.
* Outstanding customer skills and attention to detail.
* Experience with quality systems such as ISO 17025.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) is a plus.
* Ability to be a leader and work unsupervised.
* Positive, eager to learn attitude.
* US Citizen.
* Valid driver's license.
* Ability to work in a safe manner while maintaining safety at all times (OSHA regulations/ LOTO).
* Must display critical thinking/problem solving skills.
* Proficient at multitasking.
* Weekend/holiday attendance as appropriated.
