Duties
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients using sonography equipment.
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them.
- Position patients and equipment to obtain high-quality images.
- Analyze images and provide preliminary findings to healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- ARDMS Certified for Sonography
- Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of anatomy.
- Experience with various medical imaging technologies, such as X-Ray, PET scan, or mammography.
- Strong diagnostic evaluation skills to accurately interpret images.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including emergency room settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
