Overview:
We are seeking a talented Social Media Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about social media and creative and have a strong understanding of various platforms and digital marketing strategies.
Duties:
- Model and implement the Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra's mission, vision, and values throughout all our social media and marketing campaigns.
- Create a social media and marketing calendar.
- Create meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing, editing, and promoting social media posts weekly.
- Design digital advertising for Facebook and print advertising for media outlets.
- Manage the content on our YouTube channel.
- Use Photoshop or Canva to create images that will draw attention and increase interest in what we do.
- Create newsletters and email blasts for subscribers using Constant Contact.
- Design print graphics, including season brochures, posters, and promotional material for the Weill Center.
- Attend marketing meetings once a month.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2 or 4 year degree either completed or in progress
- Proven experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
