Position Summary:
The Service Department Receptionist plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within the service department. This position is responsible for managing incoming calls, providing updates to customers regarding their vehicles, and scheduling customer appointments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering Phone Calls: Respond promptly to incoming calls, direct them to the appropriate department or personnel, and handle customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
- Customer Updates: Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule customer appointments for vehicle servicing, ensuring optimal use of service department resources.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of calls.
- Proficient in using scheduling software and other office equipment.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
