Job Posting: Maintenance Mechanic (Full-Time)
Indiantown Marine Center is currently hiring for the position of Maintenance Mechanic. This position can be part-time or full-time, depending on the candidate's availability and preference. We are seeking a skilled individual with expertise in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, welding and general boatyard equipment maintenance to join our team.
Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities:
· Perform repair and maintenance services for all company mobile equipment, including boat hoists, forklifts, manlifts, telehandlers, trucks, tractors, generators, compressors, tugs, and construction equipment.
· Operate, maintain, and repair electrical distribution equipment such as shore power pedestals, power modules, transformers, shore power cords, extensions, and related components.
· Fabricate, operate, and maintain cooling equipment, including cooling towers, portable AC systems, and related machinery.
· Maintain and repair pressure washing and recycling systems, water distribution system components, and pump-out equipment.
· Adhere to company policies related to employment, safety, environmental protection, security, and overall facility maintenance.
· Collaborate with other employees to fulfill company operational requirements and assist with yard work as needed.
· Be available for extended hours during hurricane threats to support increased company operations.
· Interact with customers courteously to foster positive relationships and promote a friendly atmosphere.
· Assist management with general company operations, including facility cleaning and maintenance, landscaping, and special projects.
· Adhere to company operational policies and best practices, participate in safety and environmental training, and strive to enhance operational efficiency.
Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications:
· Demonstrable experience and proficiency in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, and welding work.
· Possession of personal tools required for the position.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
· Willingness to undergo a background check and provide references.
Maintenance Mechanic Compensation:
Hourly rate based on demonstrated skill and experience level.
