K&N Appliance Gallery is a luxury distributor for brand name appliances in Texas. This role is to join a team that needs top talent to help with a growing inventory problem.
The primary job role entails ensuring warehouse inventory is maintained and accurate. This includes receiving, picking, moving items, inventory counts and returns.
Job Description:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for ensuring that inventory is maintained and accurate. This role is responsible for receivng items into the warehouse and preparing for inventory. Duties can include all warehouse activities such as selecting the correct items from the warehouse shelves before staging them for delivery, operating forklifts, picking, moving items, inventory counts, and inventory returns.
K&N uses a WWMS system. We need someone that is technical and can learn/use our software and our processes. We use Epicor Prophet 21 with integrated WWMS and wireless scanners across multiple locations and warehouses.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving and cateloging items into the warehouse.
- Communicating with different vendors and freight companies about receiving and shipments.
- Communicating with internal teams about shippments and items received.
- Collecting order notes and pick tickets to fulfill orders.
- Accurately picking ordered items from storage shelves using barcodes, item numbers etc.
- Operating handling equipment according to industrial safety standards.
- Loading delivery vehicles.
- Updating stock inventory as needed.
- Performing general warehouse duties as necessary.
- Receiving and processing products as needed.
- Keeping a clean and safe working environment and optimizing space utilization.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Ability to use P21 to process inventory tasks
- Ability to use RF or barcode scanner
- Great self-independence and motivation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for long hours
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs
