$500 Signing Bonus! We are seeking a Call Center Representative for a well-respected community clinic in Auburn Park, IL. Very good opportunity for someone with excellent customer service skills to advance within the company. Base salary range of $18.00 to $23.00 per hour with full benefits. Bi-Lingual (English / Spanish)
Position Summary:
This position will answer incoming calls from established/new patients regarding scheduling appointments, rescheduling appointments, answering patient’s questions, respond to inquiries about our services and route calls to appropriate resources (e.g.: billing, referral, outreach, clinical team, administration, Behavioral health, etc.), forward complaints/patients’ issues/concerns to the supervisor, and provide general information about our services.
Call Center Agent/Representative Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer calls in an efficient, courteous, and prompt manner • Schedule patient appointments by asking and entering client information into our NextGen Practice Management system (EPM); confirming information with patient.
- Obtains patient information by answering telephone calls, and verifying information.
- Informs patients of date (and time) for their appointment and explaining what information they must bring to their appointment; answering questions; providing information.
- Maintains and improves quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines; recommending improved procedures.
- Maintains communication equipment by reporting problems.
- Provide excellent service to our patients • Other duties as assigned Call Center Agent/Representative Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate degree preferred
- Proficient in relevant computer applications
- One-three years of experience in a call center environment • Have prior experience with a high call volume
- Knowledge of customer service practices and principles
- Excellent data entry and typing skills (must be able to type a minimum of 50wpm)
- Microsoft office experience (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Knowledge of Electronic Practice Management/Electronic Medical Records system • Superior listening, verbal, and written communication skills, professional phone voice, and ability to ask prying questions and diffuse tense situations
- Strong time management and decision-making skills • Ability to handle stressful situations appropriately • Adaptability and accountability • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
