Job Summary:
Candidate will join a large team supporting development and implementation of activities to maintain and improve the health of the Department of Navy’s financial management processes, people, and capabilities, including support to budget, accounting, data reconciliation, and system modernization.
Candidate shall specifically assist in the development of executive strategy, plans, and initiatives, to include change management, by collecting and analyzing data, preparing outlines, conducting analyses of alternatives, and conducting technical and programmatic assessments.
To support development of these plans, the Candidate will analyze current and proposed business practices, perform organizational assessments, develop improved processes and procedures, and identify and track major technical and programmatic issues.
Duties:
- Analyze current business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement
- Develop strategies for implementing changes effectively
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth transition during change implementation
- Utilize project management techniques to oversee change initiatives
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of changes on business operations
- Provide training and support to staff members affected by changes
Preferred experience:
- Proven experience in change management or related field
- Proficiency in sales, software, Salesforce, and customer relationship management tools
- Strong strategic planning and negotiation skills
- Ability to drive business development initiatives
