POSITION: Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
Qualifications:
· At least two years of related experience.
· Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience with data entry and data analysis.
- Strong problem solving, project management and organization skills.
- Must be a Registered Dietitian.
Responsibilities:
- Complete seasonal menu cycle tailored to meet the needs of individuals and all the special diets prescribed by the physician.
- Provide nutritional consultation and training to all staff which include training for food modification, portion control, safety and sanitation.
- Perform nutritional assessment mealtime monitoring, updating diet cards, and working in the food production with the cook.
- Provide dietary services in accordance with company guidelines, state and federal laws and regulations.
- Develop nutrition plans and implement interventions based on knowledge of patient's current health.
- Complete monthly, quarterly and yearly assessments of clients and adapt nutrition plans as needed.
- Implement personalized, age-specific and culturally appropriate nutrition strategies.
- Deliver client nutrition recommendations to physicians, nurses and aides.
- Provide nutrition education and counseling for patients.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
