We are currently seeking a Facilities Engineer Project Manager to join our team at our facility located in Fremont, CA. This role requires a combination of project management and engineering skills to oversee construction projects and manage the maintenance of our manufacturing plant.
- Manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
- Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking progress and making adjustments as needed
- Oversee plant construction and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Manage project budgets and forecasts, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and management to ensure project goals are met
- Utilize HVAC knowledge to maintain optimal working conditions within the facility
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in project management and construction management
- Strong scheduling experience, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- 5+ years of technical and project management experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and plant construction
- Knowledge of Building and (NFPA) codes, standards, and compliances is a plus.
- Knowledgeable of Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Life Safety, Risk mitigation and Piping systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
