Southport Kennel is looking for a Customer Service Representative with a great attitude, outgoing personality, a high level of computer proficiency and exceptional telephone communication ability to join our team. This is currently a Part time position with the potential of a permanent position in the future.
Skills and Experience • Greeting clients • Processing payments •Managing multiple phone lines • Maintaining a clean facility • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • The desire to work with and care for animals • Ability to read, interpret, and write documents such as safety rules, checklists, and procedure manuals. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel. • Basic mathematical skill to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and record information. • Ability to build rapport and strengthen relationships with new and existing customers. • Strong problem-solving skills. • Ability to evaluate urgency of situation and prioritize tasks. • Responsive to direction provided by supervisors • Work as part of a team with emphasis on communication • Organized with an attention to detail. • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees. • Must be willing to submit to a Background Check and Drug Test
Experience: Prefer Kennel/ Vet experience of 1+ yr
