Environmental Works, LLC (EWorks) of Fairview, Oregon is looking to hire an organized full-time, Registered Geologist (R.G.) in Oregon (and Licensed Geologist in Washington is a plus) to support our Heating Oil Tank (HOT) Department and oversee a wide variety of environmental projects in Oregon and Washington. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Registered Geologist (RG) with valid stamp in Oregon.
- Licensed Geologist (LG) with valid stamp in Washington a plus.
- Experience in Heating Oil Tank (HOT) and Underground Storage Tank (UST) decommissioning and related tasks.
- Experience in Heating Oil Tank (HOT) and Underground Storage Tank (UST) Risk Based Evaluations.
- Experience in Hydrogeologic Evaluations.
- Experience in performing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Phase II Environmental Investigations, and Phase III Remedial Measures.
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations and experience interacting with governmental regulatory agencies.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
- Able to work Effectively, Efficiently, and Independently.
- Marketing Experience.
- Project Cost Estimating Experience.
- Bachelor's degree in geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, engineering, or related field
- Experience in geological assessments, environmental assessments, contaminant investigation, contaminant remediation, stormwater management, permitting projects, and/or compliance projects in the public and private sectors.
- Previous environmental consulting experience a plus.
- Previous environmental construction services experience a plus.
Demonstrated ability to properly manage multiple projects concurrently while ensuring compliance with deliverable timelines.
Professional Roles:
Your professional roles would include:
- Support and Assist in Managing Heating Oil Tank (HOT) Decommissioning and related tasks.
- Support and Assist in Managing Underground Storage Tank (UST) Decommissioning and related tasks.
- Complete and Submit Geotechnical Hole Reports to the Oregon Water Resources Department (OWRD).
- Prepare and review of work plans, technical documents, and reports for federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
- Prepare and review of new clientele proposals for federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
- Develop the scope of environmental assessment and remediation projects from our diverse portfolio and manage them within budget.
- Conduct regular field visits to drive project execution and ensure that appropriate health and safety procedures are being followed.
- Review and approve contractor work proposals and invoices.
- Evaluate/interpret data and prepare detailed reports.
- Assist with marketing and business development.
- Mentor junior staff to assist with their professional development.

WORK SCHEDULE AND LOCATION
This full-time project management position typically works Monday - Friday with office work and some site visits and/or field work as needed. Flexible to some remote working.
