We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Automotive Sales Assistant to join our team. As an Automotive Sales Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our sales team by providing exceptional customer service and administrative assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Greet customers as they arrive at the dealership, answer inquiries, and provide information about available vehicles and promotions.
- Assist Sales Team: Support the sales team by scheduling test drives, preparing vehicles for display, and arranging vehicle deliveries.
- Administrative Duties: Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining customer databases, processing paperwork, and filing documents accurately.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, including features, specifications, and available options, to effectively assist customers in their decision-making process.
- Follow-Up: Conduct follow-up calls and emails with customers to ensure satisfaction, gather feedback, and promote additional services or products.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales team, managers, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Customer Service Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and support colleagues when needed.
- Automotive Knowledge: Basic understanding of automotive terminology, features, and functionalities preferred.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in using computers and software applications for administrative tasks.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate customer needs and dealership hours.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional education or training in sales or customer service is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
