Position Overview:
The President of Construction is a key member of the senior leadership team, reporting directly to the President. This role is pivotal in driving sales and marketing leadership, fiscal planning, strategic direction, and achieving performance targets. We are looking for a visionary leader with a proven track record in project management and a knack for fostering strong client relationships, similar to the exemplary leadership demonstrated by Oneida.
Compensation:
$150,000 - $350,000 per year
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategy:
- Provide senior sales and marketing leadership.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve market penetration and increase market share.
- Set sales territories and goals, and conduct market research to stay ahead of competitive activity.
- Lead the Sales and Marketing Department staff, ensuring the achievement of performance metrics, expense and revenue management, and compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Project Management:
- Oversee all aspects of project management, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Collaborate with the project management team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Provide guidance and support in the execution of major projects, leveraging expertise to ensure successful outcomes.
- Customer Relationships:
- Develop and foster trusting relationships with customers, directly managing major and critical accounts.
- Lead sales leadership in presenting major proposals to key customers, ensuring customer business drivers are met.
- Participate in meetings and other activities to solicit new business and build strong customer relations.
- Sales and Marketing:
- Monitor competitive activity and provide feedback to leadership.
- Leverage knowledge of both the construction and OEM sides of the business to set strategic direction.
- Oversee and direct annual shows, general sales meetings, and DSM meetings.
- Accountable for building and leading the strategy for training and development of the sales staff.
- Adjust sales and marketing activities to meet or exceed financial targets, ensuring targeted profit margins are attained.
- Performance and Development:
- Lead and direct all aspects of sales and marketing performance.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to drive growth and achieve financial goals.
- Provide expertise and assistance in the solicitation of new or prospective business.

- Proven experience in senior sales and marketing leadership roles.
- Strong background in project management within the construction industry.
