Bus Aide
Duties:
- Assist the bus driver in ensuring the safety and well-being of students during transportation.
- Help students get on and off the bus safely.
- Maintain order and discipline among students while on the bus.
- Assist students with special needs, including helping them fasten seat belts or secure wheelchairs.
- Communicate with parents, teachers, and school staff regarding any concerns or issues related to student behavior or safety.
- Follow established procedures for emergency situations, such as evacuations or medical emergencies.
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards working with children.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established protocols and procedures.
