Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics operations and be capable of ensuring seamless operations in line with customer requirements. This role involves managing various logistics functions, including booking, tracking, and monitoring cargo, as well as providing excellent customer service from booking to delivery.
Responsibilities
- Follow SOPs and Work Instructions, update as needed, and ensure compliance with operational best practices and customer requirements.
- Book, track, and monitor cargo (FCL/LCL/FTL/LTL/AIR/PARCEL).
- Provide exceptional customer service, managing all stages from booking to cargo delivery.
- Maintain daily communication with customers, carriers, and internal staff.
- Keep essential account documentation updated and readily accessible for the team.
- Enhance customer satisfaction and business share through regular contact (phone and heavy email communication).
- Monitor account issues, communicate with management, and implement solutions.
- Analyze service and cost data, providing actionable recommendations for business improvement.
- Suggest changes to current processes when necessary.
- Generate necessary reports (service failure, claim/damage, column, P&L, etc.).
- Ensure accurate data entry into Cello and other systems.
- Monitor trends and report changes to management for necessary actions.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in logistics operations, preferably with Ocean/Drayage/Freight.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Korean/English bilingual preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to engage and work directly with customers.
- Solutions-oriented mindset.
- Highly self-motivated with minimal supervision needed.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Able to handle high-pressure and fast-paced operations.
- Strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn other modes of transportation as needed.
- Experience with NAFTA/USMCA cross-border transportation preferred.
- Relevant logistics industry knowledge.
- Familiarity with logistics systems (WMS/TMS/WMS).
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $22.42 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week
