Our locksmith technicians are skilled tradesmen, focused on commercial work. From door hardware installation on large projects to maintenance services for our clients, our locksmith technicians have the opportunity to work on exciting projects with continuous learning opportunities and advancement. This includes installing door alarms, card access & keypads, intercom systems, exit devices, door closers, electric strikes and master key systems - we are looking for an eager and experienced locksmith technician interested in expanding into electrified door hardware and other exciting applications.

We are looking for a qualified and experienced locksmith technician to join our team. Qualifications:
- 5+ years Locksmith experience.
- Coordination with project planning and project execution including logistics, parts, and timing.
- Coordination with ordering and planning materials and parts for day to day jobs for technicians.
- Working with management to ensure proper inventory is stocked
- Mastery skills at providing a high level of timely & accurate customer service; communicate effectively with the client to determine needed services and costs.
- Mastery skills at completing and submitting paperwork accurately and on time;
- Responsible for capturing parts and labor used at jobs to accurately generate invoice.
- Accurate documentation of work scope completed including providing detailed notes capturing work completed.
- Expert knowledge with Install, repair and maintain door hardware like deadbolts, entry knobs, crash bars, etc.
- Expert knowledge with Installation techniques associated with installing and servicing security, access control and security video systems, and any other related hardware.
- Knowledge of Seattle Fire Code, IBC and WAC codes.
- Skilled at modifying doors for locks.
- Expert knowledge at creating and maintaining master key systems.
- Expert knowledge of Re-key and pinning of residential & commercial locks.
- Cuts on keys by code.
- Clean, maintain, adjust, calibrate & service equipment.
- Light carpentry work, including door installation
- Maintain knowledge of the evolving state-of-the-art technology in the industry.
- Support in other projects as directed by Management
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES * Master at performing emergency lockouts, without damaging hardware.
- Master at install, repair and maintain Commercial and Residential hardware, including but not limited to list above.
- Master at interpreting a variety of instructions in written, diagram or schedule form.
- Master at trouble-shooting with a variety of variables in situations.
- Master at documenting professional correspondence.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office.
- Proficient to use power tools; cutoff saw, sawzall, circular saw, router etc.
- Proficient to effectively present information to customers & commercial clients.
- Proficient to measure using calipers and tape measure.
- Knowledge and experience of access control systems.

Physical Requirements: * Must be clean cut.
- Must be able to fluently understand, speak and write English.
- Must be able to pass a background security check.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License with clean driving record. No accidents within the past 3 years.
Competitive Locksmith Compensation: Wage is negotiable based on locksmith and security experience. Salary Range depends on locksmith and door experience. Sponsorship for training & certifications are offered to our staff. Performance bonuses are offered. Health Benefits are provided.*Applicant Must have at least 3+ years of LOCKSMITH experience to be considered and electrified door hardware experience is an advantage.

Pay: $27.00 - $43.00 per hour
