Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and timely manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area
- Process payments using cash register or POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely food preparation
- Follow sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server or in a similar customer service role preferred
- Knowledge of OpenTable or other reservation management systems is a plus
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems is desirable
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally
- Basic culinary knowledge for accurate order taking and menu recommendations
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
