Overview:
The Finance Coordinator is responsible for supporting the finance and accounting teams with accounting activities, general ledgers and journals, financial data, and reporting, and various other financial and accounting activities.
Responsibilities:
- Performs complex clerical and entry-level accounting activities. Compiles and checks source documents, such as vouchers, invoices, purchase orders, and cash receipts, for completeness and accuracy, and prepares reports.

Verifies and posts details of business transactions to appropriate ledgers and journals, and totals accounts.

Compares various reports and journal entries to verify accuracy and prepares input forms to reconcile errors.

Reconciles, audits, and tracks various financial data and reports.

Supports processes which may include: monthly close, budgeting, invoice tracking, etc.

Prepare adjustments to chargebacks for vendor non-pay or re-class issues and share.

Runs basic reports in various systems including operating expenses, revenue, profitability, and variances.

Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience

No prior experience required

Basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software

Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills

Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines

Analytic and Reporting skills

Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills

Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment
Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone
