In this role, you will be responsible for:
Customer Service and Sales:
- Deliver exceptional customer service, assisting customers with product selection, inquiries, and providing expert knowledge on vaping products.
- Act as a role model for the team, demonstrating excellent customer service skills and building rapport with customers.
- Support the Store Manager in driving sales growth through suggestive selling techniques, upselling, and effective product promotions.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, customer trends, and feedback, providing recommendations to enhance the customer experience.
Operational Support:
- Assist the Store Manager in managing day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, as well as regulatory requirements related to the vaping industry.
- Contribute to maintaining store cleanliness, organization, and adherence to visual merchandising standards.
- Assist with stock management, including receiving, replenishing, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Utilize sales and inventory management systems to track product performance, analyze trends, and generate reports.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Support the Store Manager in training and coaching sales associates on product knowledge, sales techniques, and exceptional customer service.
- Assist in creating and maintaining a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, motivation, and employee engagement.
- Help establish clear performance expectations, set goals, and provide ongoing feedback to team members.
- Support the Store Manager in monitoring and evaluating employee performance and conducting regular performance evaluations.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members, promoting a culture of open dialogue and idea-sharing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework or a degree in business or related field is a plus).
- Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in the vaping or related industry.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Knowledge of vaping products, industry trends, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in using POS systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
