Your Role
The Events Coordinator will leverage strong organizational skills to plan and facilitate logistics for conferences and events, including event analysis, collateral needs, graphics coordination, communication with event contact, and meeting deadlines. We are looking for a detail-oriented, dedicated team player who demonstrates a passion for efficiency, with a curiosity for all aspects of marketing and is ready to hit the ground running at a fast-growing company.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting head of conferences in planning and facilitating logistics for conferences and events
- Maintaining the lead generation process for conferences (e.g., success metrics, execution, results, and analysis)
- Keeping the conference calendar up to date and organized
- Creating (in conjunction with marketing communications) conference-related communications and events-related social posts
- Managing the invoice payment process and accruals for the Sales Enablement team
- Placing ads/articles with state and national trade associations
- Maintaining current company/service descriptions for national and state association websites
You should possess the following experience, skills, and qualifications:
- BS or BA in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 5 years conference planning experience in a professional work environment
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Strong writing and communication skills in business, professional and casual correspondence, analysis, and reports
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to multi-task effectively
- Ability to balance efficiency vs desired outcome for projects and stay within budget
- Excellent interpersonal skills
