Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to oversee the operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant hospitality management, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including overseeing staff, inventory management, and ensuring quality control.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for all aspects of the business.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to ensure team members are well-equipped to deliver outstanding service.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and update menus, ensuring a high standard of food quality and presentation.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate and oversee banquet events, ensuring smooth execution from planning to completion.
- Utilize POS systems for order processing, payments, and reporting.
- Conduct interviews, hire, train, and supervise staff members.
- Assist in inventory control to minimize waste and optimize cost efficiency.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Assistant Manager in a hospitality setting.
- Strong background in inventory management and control.
- Proficiency in POS systems and other restaurant-related software.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.
- Prior experience in shift management and assistant manager roles is advantageous.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and banquet event coordination is preferred.
