Physical Therapist Assistant
The Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) assists in the delivery of patient care as established by the licensed therapist to reach treatment goals through a written treatment plan. The LPTA will be responsible for maintaining patient records. The LPTA maintains good communication with physicians, licensed therapists, nurses, allied health professionals, social workers, discharge planners, and hospital personnel. The LPTA participates in continuous quality improvement and strives to excel in customer service. Employee will be responsible for knowledge and skill necessary to provide care based on physical, psychological, educational, safety and related criteria for the neonate, infant child, adolescent, adult and geriatric population
What qualifications you will need:
Minimum Education and Training:
* Graduate of a two-year college program for Physical Therapy Assistants. Associate degree that has been approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
Minimum Work Experience:
* One-year experience in Acute/Rehabilitation Therapy.
