About the Project Manager Position
We are seeking an experienced construction professional to join our team. The Project Manager position will work from our Dallas, Texas office and the jobsite location will vary based upon individual projects. A Project Manager at Taurus Commercial is responsible for planning, supervising, coordinating, and controlling building construction projects to successfully complete a quality project on time and within budget.
Project Manager responsibilities (examples):
- Assist Estimating with bid packages and compiling proposals
- Compile project schedules, and invoices
- Oversee and manage multiple construction projects
- Inspect and enforce Taurus Commercial safety policies
- Identify and resolve field and office issues, schedule and cost impacts
- Compose subcontract scopes and approve subcontractor invoicing
- Coordinate with subcontractors to complete the project on time and budget
- Verify work complies with contract documents and quality standards
- Review records, safety reports, schedule updates, and process change orders
- Conduct and participate in on site meetings and inspections
Requirements
- Minimum of (3) yrs commercial construction Project Manager experience
- Tilt wall, healthcare, office, and industrial construction preferred
- Ability to develop and update project schedules and budgets
- Thorough understanding of OSHA safety requirements and construction codes
- Working knowledge of all sub trades
- Ability to understand blueprints/drawings and relevant contract documents
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
- Superb time management, prioritization and organizational skills
- Detail oriented and dependable
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Proficient with software programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Procore is preferred
