The Vice President of Supply Chain is a key leader in this global hospitality organization. This executive oversees all aspects of our supply chain, including logistics, purchasing, vendor management, forecasting, SKU governance, and auditing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of strategic planning and execution across the entire supply chain, as well as demonstrate a track record of exceptional leadership and team management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
Direct a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a collaborative and highly-accountable culture, developing skills through feedback and coaching.
Establish and manage KPIs for all functions within the supply chain. Identify and implement best practices to achieve and exceed key metrics.
Optimize procurement strategies and vendor relationships to ensure the best and most cost-effective product range.
Implement inventory management strategies to minimize carrying costs while ensuring adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.
Negotiate high-value contracts with suppliers across the supply chain. Develop and align on KPIs to manage the effectiveness and efficiency of all vendors.
Drive the implementation of quality management systems and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
Develop and manage the supply chain budget, tracking expenses and performance against targets, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Manage and govern inventory-related data to ensure integrity and ease of use.
Collaborate with other departments, such as Accounting, Tax, Operations, Legal, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and others to ensure a cohesive strategy and seamless execution.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards within the supply chain operations.
Stay informed of industry trends and technologies in supply chain management to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a supply chain management role, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including logistics, procurement, forecasting, negotiating, and inventory management.
Proven ability to lead and develop a team of professionals.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the skill to interact at all levels of the organization and with external partners.
Proficiency in supply chain management software and systems.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
