Overview:
Join our team as a Teacher and inspire young minds to learn and grow using our Project Lead The Way (PLTW curriculum). We are seeking a passionate individual who is dedicated to creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. As a Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping children's educational experience and fostering their academic development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students
- Teaching should incorporate aspects of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience
- Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary projects and activities that enrich the curriculum
- Utilize effective communication skills to engage with students, parents, and fellow educators
- Provide support and guidance to students with special education needs
- Foster a nurturing environment for toddler care or preschool-aged children
Qualifications:
- Must have a Florida Professional Teaching Certificate or Temporary Teaching Certificate in either math, science, engineering, or technology.
- Strong background in behavior management and classroom discipline techniques
- Knowledge of special education practices is advantageous
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Previous teaching experience
