DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Oversee Nurse Delegation Program to ensure compliance with related regulations, policy and procedures and standards. Provide educational and instructional required training for MAC workers. Assist in monitoring and tracking of requirements. Responsible for supervision of delegation of medication assistance to unlicensed personnel.
· Provides direct clinical service. Schedule and deliver client appointments for medication monitoring; administer/dispense medication; follow up on failed appointments; completes clinical recording in a timely manner.
· Medication Monitoring Face to face contact between a consumer and a mental health professional, registered nurse, or licensed practical nurse. Key service functions include:
o Review of the overt physiological effects of medication.
o Monitoring compliance with dosage instructions.
o Instructing the consumer and/or caregivers of expected effects.
o Assessing the consumer’s need to see the physician.
o Recommending changes in the medication regime.
· Provide program support services. Assist psychiatrist, pharmacist, and other nurses as needed.
· Participates in improvement of all the Key System
· Processes, and Team efforts and attends all the required training programs. Work is completed in accordance with DMH/MR Standards.
· Staff cases with other staff members and serves as a backup when necessary.
· Available on-call 24/7 for residential CRC and AGH clients.
CRITICAL TASKS: Administer medication.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
