We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Coordinator to join our team and help us amplify our message through engaging content and innovative marketing strategies.
Job Summary: The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for creating and managing content across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. This role requires a strong focus on developing visually appealing and engaging content, such as reels, flyers, advertisements, and other digital materials. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for design, and a deep understanding of social media trends and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) across social media platforms.
- Create professional content of staff and client animals to use as content.
- Design and produce visually appealing graphics, flyers, and advertisements for digital and print distribution.
- Develop and execute content calendars to ensure consistent and timely posting.
- Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a "social" way while cultivating leads and sales.
- Analyze and report on social media performance using tools such as Google Analytics and social media insights.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure brand consistency and support organizational goals.
- Assist with other marketing and communication tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field.
- Strong photography skills
- Proven experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing content creation, graphic design, and social media campaigns.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) and scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
