Overview:
The Chief Information Technology Officer will play a pivotal role in driving the advancement of IT infrastructure and services in a rapidly developing organization, while ensuring reliability, scalability, and security of data and systems. In this role, the CIO will manage a technical team of 100+ across different organizational locations for ERMCO therefore travel be expected up to 75%. The CIO is responsible for establishing strong partnerships between IT and business leaders to support and drive business objectives, strategies, and operational needs with technology solutions. Under effective leadership of the CIO, the IT department will maintain a customer-centric focus with high satisfaction levels from business units regarding IT support and collaboration. Successful candidates will display a track record of excellence in driving innovation, implementing transformative technology initiatives, and managing IT operations and resources. While leading and influencing at the executive level, the CIO will navigate complex technology landscapes and align IT strategies with broader business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Align IT strategies, investments, and priorities with enterprise objectives, ensuring IT initiatives contribute to achieving strategic goals

Lead the IT team in identifying, assessing, and mitigating IT-related risks to safeguard enterprise assets and reputation

Ensure IT resources are allocated optimally to maximize their value and minimize waste

Establish KPI’s and metrics to monitor the performance of IT processes, projects, and services using data-drive insights to drive continuous improvement

Ensure IT practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, industry standards, and contractual obligations

Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information and IT assets including data, systems, and networks

Ensure establishment of effective processes and standards for delivery of IT services to internal and external stakeholders

Collaborate with executive team to identify opportunities for leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency and customer experience

Translate business needs and strategies into technology solutions and provide visionary leadership in identifying and evaluating emerging technologies that could enhance the company’s operations or competitive advantage

Provide clear vision and path for IT aligned with business strategy

Understand cultural drivers for change and lead team in successful change management processes when needed

Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning

Develop a pipeline of talent through effective succession planning and IT organizational design to ensure the availability of skilled IT professionals to support the company’s growth and evolution

Align IT budget, including personnel, administrative, asset, and capital expenses with business priorities and needs while managing the IT spend within budget cycles and effectively prioritizing expenditures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s degree (MBA, MIT) preferred

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in IT Management and leadership roles including roles requiring technical expertise, strategic planning, project management, team leadership, and business acumen

Relevant certifications (CISSP, PMP, ITIL, CGEIT, CCISO) preferred
